Singing for fun in Burgess Hill, Hassocks & Hurstpierpoint
All the Right Notes has now ceased operating.
It is with great sadness that I have to confirm that All the Right Notes will not be returning in January 2024 as my health has deteriorated beyond the point where the preparation of rehearsals and concerts is possible.
I really wasn’t sure if we would be able to return following my heart attack, but we’ve had 15 more months of fun, and we concluded with a concert for family and friends for which tickets were completely sold out.
I would like to thank everyone who has been part of the community choir since its creation, all those professional musicians who have joined us for concerts, and all those who have come along to those concerts at various venues around the local area, enabling us to raise thousands of pounds for charities. More photos from the final year will be added in due course and this website will remain online for the next few months.
About All the Right Notes
All The Right Notes ran from January 2012 as a community choir for the Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint area. We met from September to June on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to around 9 p.m. in the hall at the United Reformed Church in Keymer Road, Hassocks.
We have a very wide repertoire of music, ranging from The Eagles to Lewis Capaldi, ABBA to Billie Eilish. Unsurprisingly, given our name, we also sing Morecambe & Wise’s much-loved Bring Me Sunshine.
Our singers come from all sorts of backgrounds – people who have never sung before to those who have been part of choirs their whole lives. The common ground is enthusiasm and an enjoyment of making music.
